On the 19th of August 2014, Delos artist, Michael Spyres was awarded the “Premio Tiberini d’oro”. Past award winners include as Katia Ricciarelli, Mariella Devia, Samuel Ramey, Chris Merritt, Rockwell Blake and Juan Diego Florez. The Premio Tiberini d’oro was given to Spyres and Italian contralto Sonia Prina at the Teatro Tiberini in San Lorenzo in Campo, Italy.
