Pushkin Romances has hit the shelves! After much anticipation, the day has finally come, and we’re confident that our newest Dmitri Hvorostovsky album won’t disappoint! This is an album that is so unique even Dmitri has a hard time containing his excitement. In the BBC Music Magazine interview he stated that “It is a fantastic idea to record Pushkin Songs. I don’t think any of my compatriots have done it.” And though he promises to make up his lack of recital performances soon, recital audiences can surely consider this album close to making up for it! We have posted so much in anticipation of this album, there is almost nothing more to say on the day of the release.
