The Trinidad & Tobago Showboat Orchestra is a flexible ensemble of five to twenty-seven of the best steel pan musicians in the world, direct from the country of Trinidad. The group was founded over a decade ago by its manager, Conrad Franklyn, a veteran musical director of steel music for over forty years. Besides performing world-wide in events as diverse as the Super Bowl, several World’s Fairs and at Olympic ceremonies, many of the musicians involved in this recording are also delighting millions annually by performing in person daily at certain magical theme park/resort complexes located in both Anaheim and Orlando. This delightful collection of Disney tunes is unique because it’s more than just a hit parade recap.
