Delos is excited to announce its newest partnership with cellist extraordinaire Zuill Bailey and Simone Dinnerstein. The year marks the tenth anniversary of Bailey and Dinnerstein’s creative collaboration. Both are known by classical consumers and music fans in general as consummate musicians with a flair for unusual and arresting interpretations. Zuill has established himself as one of the most sought-after and active cellists today. He has been noted in the press as a ‘titan of energy’ whose playing is marked by ‘youthfulness, suppleness and grace.’ Pianist Simone Dinnerstein is a charismatic and commanding performer of both solo and chamber music repertoire. Her playing ‘bursts with emotional and intellectual life.’ Both artists tour extensively and have attracted major press attention. Bailey and Dinnerstein received the Sam Sanders Award for Excellence in Chamber Music at Carnegie Hall on October 10, 2006.
