Delos artist Tali Morgulis will be performing at the Vox Feminae Festival presented by the Women Composer’s Forum of Israel April 26-27, 2017. Her performances is part of her “Shelter Project” with composer Alona Epshtein. Shelter features seven compositions by female composers from around the world. Each work presents an interpretation of the concept of “shelter” and covers a broad spectrum of experiences, ranging from the protective shelter of a mother’s womb to Syrian refugees seeking shelter in Europe. As part of the festival, Tali Morgulis will present works by women composers including Noriko Nakamura from Japan, Hadas Goldshmidt-Halfon from Israel, Finola Merivale from Ireland, and the great Clara Schumann.
